About This Event
FourBlock is proud to present the Fall 2026 Career Readiness Coach Training — Option 2, a virtual professional development experience designed to equip volunteer coaches with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to guide veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses through meaningful career transitions. This training is a cornerstone of FourBlock's mission to build a world where every veteran has access to a fulfilling civilian career, and it depends on a dedicated network of coaches who understand both the challenges and the extraordinary strengths that military experience brings to the workplace.
Participants in this training will develop a deep understanding of FourBlock's career readiness curriculum, coaching frameworks, and program delivery standards. Coaches will learn how to meet participants where they are — whether they are just beginning to explore civilian career options or actively preparing for interviews and job offers — and how to provide guidance that is both empathetic and results-driven. This option is designed to accommodate coaches who may not have been able to attend the first scheduling option, ensuring maximum access to high-quality coach preparation.
Led by FourBlock's senior Programs and Impact leadership team, this session brings together regional vice presidents and program experts from across the organization to deliver a comprehensive, nationally informed perspective on coaching best practices. Coaches who complete this training will join a growing community of professionals committed to serving those who served our country.
What to Expect
Program Orientation and Curriculum Walkthrough
FourBlock's Programs and Impact Team will walk coaches through the full Career Readiness Program structure, session objectives, and the outcomes coaches are expected to support throughout the cohort experience.
Live Panel Discussion with Regional Leadership
Hear directly from Vice Presidents representing FourBlock's Northeast, Southeast, and West regions as they share real-world coaching insights, regional program nuances, and lessons learned from working with diverse veteran populations across the country.
Interactive Breakout Sessions
Participate in small-group discussions and scenario-based exercises designed to help coaches practice active listening, feedback delivery, and navigating common challenges that arise when working with transitioning service members and veterans.
