FourBlock today announced a $150,000 grant from News Corp to support the expansion of its veteran career programming and national storytelling efforts—further strengthening a partnership focused on unlocking opportunity for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses.

This investment will help FourBlock scale its proven model for career readiness while elevating the stories of veterans who are leading, thriving, and continuing their service in communities across the country.

Founded by Marine veteran Mike Abrams, FourBlock has become a national leader in helping veterans build meaningful, purpose-driven careers. Through a combination of career education, employer partnerships, and community-based support, the organization has served more than 15,000 participants and achieved a 92% job placement rate among graduates, with alumni earning an average starting salary of $100,000+ .

At a time when veteran talent remains one of the most skilled and underleveraged pipelines in the workforce, this grant reinforces a shared commitment to shifting the national narrative—from one focused on transition challenges to one centered on leadership, value, and long-term impact.

The $150,000 investment will support several key initiatives, including the continued expansion of FourBlock’s AI-enabled digital platform, which provides personalized, early-access career guidance for veterans navigating the transition to civilian life. Funding will also strengthen employer engagement and create more pathways to meaningful employment through events, mentorship, and direct connections to hiring organizations.

In addition, the grant will help power FourBlock’s national storytelling efforts, including initiatives like the “Faces of FourBlock” campaign, designed to elevate real stories of service, resilience, and success. In collaboration with News Corp’s expansive media ecosystem, these stories will reach broader audiences and help reshape how America understands and supports its veterans.

This investment from News Corp is more than funding—it’s a commitment to rewriting the story of veteran transition in America. Together, we’re empowering veterans to lead with purpose, build meaningful careers, and continue serving their communities in powerful new ways.” said Mike Abrams, Founder of FourBlock.

News Corp’s continued partnership reflects a deep alignment around innovation, workforce development, and the power of storytelling to drive cultural change. By combining FourBlock’s high-impact programming with News Corp’s national reach, the collaboration aims to both expand access to opportunity and amplify the voices of those who have served.

As FourBlock looks ahead, the organization remains focused on scaling its impact—working toward a future where 25,000 veterans and military spouses are supported annually in finding purpose and career success after service. Through strategic investments like this one, FourBlock is building not just career pathways, but a broader movement that strengthens industries, communities, and the nation as a whole.
