After transitioning from the Navy in 2022, Gaylon Cannon was focused on building his next chapter. Today, he is a Senior Independent Testing Specialist at Wells Fargo, supporting Corporate Risk from the company’s Las Colinas, Texas campus.
Gaylon’s connection to FourBlock began through another Navy veteran, Brian Luebbert, who introduced him to the Veteran Career Readiness Program.
“FourBlock equipped me with the tools to craft a strong resume, interview confidently, and build a professional network,” Gaylon shared. “Those skills were pivotal in helping me land where I am today.”
Now, Gaylon continues to give back as a FourBlock Coach and community member, helping other veterans navigate their own transitions.
His advice for those beginning the journey?
“Network with the intention of building genuine and authentic connections, and be patient with yourself as you move through the transition process. Growth takes time, and the relationships you build along the way matter.”
